UC Santa Barbara Men's Golf Alumni Giving Challenge
Under the direction of second year head coach Chris Massoletti, UC Santa Barbara Men's Golf is on an upward trajectory in the Big West and NCAA West Region.
In order to recruit and compete at a nationally competitive level, Coach Massoletti has identified scholarship funding as the top priority for the program. We are excited to announce a $25,000 matching gift for the Gaucho Alumni Scholarship Fund for Men's Golf. This matching gift from an anonymous alumni couple will will allow your contribution to scholarship funding for the team to be doubled!
Currently the golf team is funded with approximately 2.85 in-state scholarships out of the maximum 4.5 allowed by the NCAA. In order to compete with funding for both in-state and out-of-state scholarships, a goal has been set to raise $100,000 annually for scholarships. Last year the program raised $42,492, an incredible start for the scholarship fund!

Prefer to support team operations directly? Then click HERE to make a gift to the Men's Golf G-Fund, which supplements the operational budget for the team. This year G-Fund donations will support practice access for the whole team at Saticoy Golf Club and team travel to new tournaments.
Gifts to the Doug Perry Memorial Scholarship Fund and Tyler Zaentz Memorial Scholarship Fund will be included in this giving challenge.
